The Relevance of Fruits II
There are some fruits that are meant for specific reasons and there are others that you can have for almost no reason at all. Here are some of the examples.
Fruits Galore
Most fruits have a similar quality in them, that of providing you with juices and fiber. There are many that have either one of the two quality, besides the scores of others that have both. Lets see these one by one.
The Kiwi Fruit
The kiwi fruit is generally the size of a large plum and has a furry exterior that sadly cannot be eaten, however rich the brown hue may be. Its origin actually dates back to China where it used to be grown earlier, but is today grown on a large scale in New Zealand, France, Australia, South America and Italy. Rich in Vitamin C, it has a brilliant green coat once you’ve peeled the exterior brown coating.
Kiwi fruits are largely citrus and only gets its name as it is largely popular with the New Zealanders. Few of us know it as the Chinese gooseberry. Kiwi fruits have an interesting interior and are completely replenished with loads of Vitamin E as well. It contains twice the amount of Vitamin C as compared to orange and is completely sufficient in its dosage of Vitamin C for adults. Its best nutritive value of the fruit is when its boiled as an egg. The Kiwi fruit also contains loads of potassium, and fiber along with 10 per cent of natural sugar, providing about 30 calories per fruit.
Water Melon
Watermelons are the coolest fruit of all. Loved the world over for its green, mottled or striped thick skin that conceals a brilliant red flesh, with its little tear drop black seeds. Known for its thirst quenching abilities, the water melon contains the greatest amount of watery juices, up to 92 percent of water. Believed to have originated from India and Africa, some of the warmest countries known to man, they were also known to be consumed a lot by the Egyptians. The size of a watermelon can range any where from a round and large shape to one that’s more oblong in appearance. The Sugar Baby, a round and soft melon variety is exceptionally sweet. The more crisper the variety, the better the taste and the more effective it is in absolute dehydrating conditions.
With its natural sugar, it is known to promote the color of blood in the body’s system and is exceptionally great for people suffering from excessive heat. Packed with a giant dose of glutathione, it also helps in boosting the immune system. Watermelons are a key source of lycopene – the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are Vitamin C & Potassium. Water melons are not for harming any one so far as its cooling effect has had its special place in every body as it balances the toxic effect and maintains one, literally, to keep his/ her cool!

Highly regarded as a symbol of fertility since Venus, the goddess of love, this is one fruit that is adored only be a select few and are interestingly by those people who have an accentuated Venus in their horoscopes. Known for their healing properties, especially for stomach ailments, the pomegranate are also known for inducing loads of patience for the person attempting to peel and de-seed them. They are cultivated the world over today and are prone to getting marred thanks to their soft skin.
Pomegranate seeds are best used as a medicine to cure blockages in the blood, and are best combined when left over a period of time in a silver vessel and then consumed with a dash of pepper. Both pepper and pomegranates allow one to curb bloating and is excellent for those with a delicate stomach.
