Britney Spears vs. Justin Timberlake

Pop princess Britney Spears is getting tired of ex Justin Timberlake’s loose lips regarding her and their relationship.
It seems the pop princess and her camp are fuming over comments made by Timberlake during his 20/20 interview and his performance of his new song "Horrible Woman." Timberlake has implied on many occasions that Brit’s actions spurred their break-up, that she was the one who was cheating in the relationship. He also makes disparaging remarks in the December issue of Details about her foray into the "reel" world with her movie Crossroads, saying "If she had a clue, she wouldn’t have made that movie, don’t you think?"

Friends of Spears’ find his comments "immature" and "irritating." The friend also believes that since "his album isn’t doing as well as expected and he said everything about Britney’s personal life [to drive sales], he’s now attacking her professionally." One of Timberlake’s reps would only say that they were quite happy with the success of Justin’s solo album Justified. Seems Brit has kept pretty mum on the subject, although she was seen around town sporting a tee shirt that read "Dump Him" when Timberlake was reportedly seeing actress Alyssa Milano. Was that a veiled message to her ex’s new flame?

Brit, who finally turned 21 on December 2, started out the year with a bang, which has dimmed to a whimper. Yes, she did star in her own movie, making the crossover from singer to singer-actress. She opened her own restaurant and headlined a tour. Alas, the movie was not a box-office hit (earning a mere $37 million), the restaurant was panned by critics and fans (she has since "washed her hands of it"), and her album received only mediocre reviews with the tour ending abruptly in Mexico City with Brit singing only five songs and calling it a night. Add to that her break-up with pretty boy, Justin Timberlake, his public banter about their life and her honor and her parents split and not a great year does it make. Maybe this one will be better, Brit…
