All is Wells in the Bronx
"David Wells Is Back Where he Belongs!" David Wells is back where he belongs, wearing pinstripes for the New York Yankees.
The New York Yankees' offseason moves continue to hammer The Baseball world.
It seems like old times again with pitcher, David Wells, back in pinstripes.
The one thing that shocked Yankee fans in general, though, is the fact that Wells had proclaimed himself as a Diamondback.
Wells has a lifetime record of 166-114 and 4.08 in 15 seasons.
In The Desert all is not well with the Diamondbacks. In this modern world of lawyers and cut-throat deals, a hand shake is just as good as a Susan B. Anthony coin. The savy Steinbrenner hates losing anything. But, the Yankee owner knew he had to get Wells back. This was a classic move by The Yankees.
As The young and naive snakes are in state of shock, Yankee fans throughout The Desert have a nice after glow.
The Yankees were around before this area was even thought of.
The one thing the Diamondbacks have learned is -- unless it is in writing, nothing else counts.
The movie "The Sting" will be playing in a local venue in The Phoenix Metro area. Hopefully, Diamondback fans will make it a sell out!
