Hot Stuff!

A spicy little dinner which is EASY to make...it's GREAT with a side of nachos!
Hot Stuff!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees

You will need:

At least three dozen jalapeno peppers

A pound of ground beef

A pkg of onion soup mix (I use Lipton brand)

A 1/4 cup of oatmeal

A 1/4 cup of ketchup

One medium onion, ground fine in a food processor (optional)

Cut the vine end of the peppers off and throw it away; using a small, sharp knife scoop out the seeds, and place in a mixing bowl.

THE MIXING BOWL

Only save the seeds if you like things HOT!
Add to them the ground beef and all other ingredients and mix well...
Stuff the peppers with the beef mixture and place in large oven-safe container.

Bake at 375 degrees until beef is well cooked - usually about 30 minutes!

Leaving out the seeds will make a less spicy meal...

Just before removing from oven, sprinkle peppers with your favorite type of shredded cheese and let melt...then remove and eat!

Caution: Buzzle.com and author are not responsible for burns to tongue, etc.,...also be careful not to touch your face after handling jalapeno peppers until you wash your hands - they BURN!
