Pats still getting no respect.

The Pats are getting no respect, and eSports Sinista1 wants to let you know how he feels. Also, see which Patriot plans on being a "Queer Eye" makeover this offseason.
Is it me, or does it seem that this season of the NFL went by in a blink of an eye? It seems like yesterday that everyone was filling the sports radio phone lines about how the loss of Lawyer Milloy was going to hurt this team, and it was all woe and gloom when they lost the season opener to the Buffalo Bills.

Here we are months later, and the Pats are tied for the best record in the NFL, and they are doing it without a high powered offense. At this time the Pats have tallied up a (insert sarcasm here) huge 296 total points for the season and allowed 222 total points coming second in the league behind the Tampa Bay Bucs with 201 total points allowed. The only other team to score fewer points this season and leads their division are the Carolina Panthers with 268 total points scored.

Last week the Pats beat the Jacksonville Jaguars at "The Razor" in the snow. 27-13, and if it wasn't for a late TD reception by the Jags the score would have really told the tale of the tape against a team that everyone was talking up their defense, and how much better they were over the Pats defense.

This week the Pats are heading into New York and all everyone is talking about is RB Curtis Martin and how he rushed for 174 yards on 30 carries, which to me doesn't mean a thing. When you win the game 6-0 and the only one who score was the kicker, rushing for 174 yards without a TD is like having sex without the orgasm.

Still the Pats continue to win with no fanfare outside of the Massachusetts area. Week after week I see guys like Chirs Collinsworth or Boomer Esiason have no faith in the Pats, and if they were betting men they would be running from the bookies butt naked by now.

However, it doesn't stop there. This week the NFL announced the choices for the 2004 Pro Bowl, and the only Pats to make the list were DL Richard Seymour, and CB Ty Law! Are we all watching the same games here? Where is Tedy Bruschi or Rodney Harrison? They are the top two guys on this team for tackles, and Bruschi also has two picks returned for TDs? How about C Damien Woody, WR Bethal Johnson for special teams alternate at least! It all reminds me of 2001 and we don't need to remind those Raiders, Steelers and Rams fans do we?

As for other Pats news, OL Matt Light has signed on to do an episode of "Queer Eye" this offseason. For those of you who don't know Matt Light, he is the Pats version of Paul Bunyon. No flash or bling-bling here whatsoever.

Is it to late for me to cast my vote for P Ken Walter's best impression of a Survivor outcast?

And while I've got your attention I'd just like to continue my ranting about things other than the Patriots...

If the Miami Dolphins continues the losing in December streak this weekend, I'm sure head coach Dave Wannstedt will be standing in the unemployment line with former Giants coach Jim Fassel and Lions GM Matt Millen.

And what was so wrong about Saints WR Joe Horn's orchestrated TD celebration? I think his impression of the Verizon's phone guy "Can you here me now?" was hilarious. If he doesn't get some type of deal from someone I'll be surprised. As for him being fined, I think the league has to allow some fun as long as it's not overdone, lewd and disrespectful to the opposing team.

Gee, and what was up with Bud getting involved with the Rangers and Red Sox's deal with Manny for A-Rod, and giving them a 5pm ultimatum. This trade is getting almost as bad as Middle East peace talks. Maybe they should send President Carter or Jesse Jackson in to seal the deal.

Guys... we need to toughen up. The women are leading CBS "Survivor," winning $4 million to $3 million. What makes matters worse is to see Osten Taylor from Boston belly up and quit like a beeyatch after claiming he can be focused.

What else, what else, what else...

This week I just saw coming attractions for AVP, and for those of you who don't know what AVP is and are sci-fi/comic book fans you really need to check this out at www.avp-movie.com.

I'd also like to mention that Michael Paul Levesuqe has signed on for the role of a vampire in the third installment of the Blade series called Blade: Trinity. For those of you who don't know who he is you can tune in to Spike television on WWE's Monday Night Raw, and look for Mr. Stephanie McMahon (aka Triple H/The Game). Seems to me he maybe envying the Rock. Best of luck to him.

So with that, I'm off to New York for the Jets game this weekend, and if I get a chance I'll try to beeyatch slap that silly fireman for all you Pats fans out there.
