Candy Land Dreams

Magic carpet rides upon the sticky pink and blue, green and yellow fluffy rainbow cotton candy clouds
As the inner child day-dreams of this wonderful magical place known as candy land dreams
Where the chocolate rain drops sprinkle down, making waterfalls of chocolate streams over sweetened covered strawberry daydreams
Where paths of rocky road ice cream take them to marshmallow covered mountain tops, on top of sugar coated snow cone trees, upside down are the
Smiley faces of the inner child in all of us;
As the frosty icy covered slopes, melting down upon the sticky
Candy covered mouths of silly clown faces,
The smiles and laughter heard throughout the candy land dreams;
For in the hearts of an inner child, are grown-ups
Who daydream of this magical place
For love and laughter is what truly makes the world go around;
As the inner child in all of us enjoy the simple pleasures of life
As we ride that merry-go-round of life, the adult in all of us should never let our most inner child grow up
