Mike Burleson: It's a Dog's Life at the White House
There's a new Bush in town. His name is Barney and he has his own video! Barney, the President's Scottish terrier now has his on web cam and it's getting a lot of viewers this holiday season.
"Barney is what you might call a 'publicity hound', said White House spokesman Ari Fleischer, with tongue in cheek.
According to CBS news, 24 million people watched Barney's debut on the web last week. It is part of an ongoing series of videos produced by the White House, which are receiving records hits on the internet.
