Enrique Dumps Kournikova
Word on the street is that Latin singing sensation Enrique Iglesias has split from longtime love Anna Kournikova.
First he got rid of the infamous mole. Now it’s rumored that he has dumped his girlfriend. Neither camp ever confirmed an actual relationship, but the couple’s penchant for public displays of affection said enough. The two, who are constantly groping each other in public, reportedly moved into a seven-bedroom mansion in Miami this past July. Iglesias, 28, and Kournikova, 22, recently enjoyed a hot and heavy make-out session in Venice Beach for anyone and everyone to see. They certainly do not have any problem with public displays of affection.
Kournikova appeared in the video for Iglesias’ 2002 hit "Escape" and the two have been locked at the lips ever since. Sources close to the couple say that they break up and make up all the time. There have been recent reports that the couple was expecting a baby and this past June it was reported that they were going to wed in the Dominican Republic. Neither report proved true, but the couple constantly has the media’s attention.
The O.C.’s hot new starlet Mischa Barton, 18, recently appeared with Iglesias in his latest video. There has been some buzz that a brewing romance between the two cooled his romance with Kournikova. It seems his video shoots are a great way of making new "friends." Iglesias’s rep refused comment on the rumors and Kournikova’s rep has not returned calls. I guess we will just have to wait for the next make-out session to see who is co-starring with Iglesias. Enrique is certainly following his father’s example in the Latin Love department.
