Kevin Federline Disses Britney Spears

There have been a lot of rumors lately about the status of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s marriage. It has even been reported that she had kicked him out of their Malibu mansion earlier this month and taken away his prized Ferrari. Now it is being reported that Federline told a reporter during a trip to Las Vegas a few weeks ago that he has met with lawyers and has said if Britney divorces him that he would seek an astronomical settlement of $125 million. Said Federline, "I don’t like lawyers. But in this situation, I have to get protection."

As for the pre-nup, Federline has allegedly told friends that it is "not worth the paper it is written on." The report also stated that Federline said of Spears, "I love her. But ask me now about life apart from Britney, and all I can say is, ‘Can it be any worse than living with her?’" Fed Fed allegedly went on to say, "I’m doing what she wanted, getting out of the house and trying to find work, but I do that and she trashes my efforts. She just wants me at her beck and call as a little househusband. Marriage is something you don’t go into lightly. She has to learn she can’t pick me up and dump me off, like her first husband."

Of course Spears’ mouthpiece has rubbished reports that Federline dissed Britney to the press. Leslie Sloane said, "The story is untrue and hurtful, and he didn’t give them an interview. He and Britney are as normal as other couples; they fight and they make up." Whatever the case, the couple looked very happy on Monday when they went out on the town for dinner and a movie. Was this a real attempt at saving their marriage or just a photo op?
