Ellen’s New Love
Ellen De Generes and actress Portia De Rossi have reportedly begun a romantic relationship after leaving their girlfriends.
De Generes reportedly ended her four-year relationship with photographer Alexandra Hedison on Friday, while De Rossi dumped girlfriend (Ringo Starr’s stepdaughter) Francesca Gregorini recently. Now De Rossi is allegedly sharing Ellen’s Hollywood mansion. De Generes and De Rossi first met in March on a photo shoot and reconnected earlier this month when they made the decision to dump their significant others and be together. According to a source, "Alexandra and Francesca are both devastated. Neither of them had any idea what was coming. People who know Ellen will say she is going through a midlife crisis, dumping Alexandra for a hot, younger woman. They predict Ellen will come to her senses and dump Portia to go back to Alexandra in the near future."
A source said that Ellen and Alexandra looked very happy just a week ago, "You would never have known anything was wrong, they seemed so happy together." The two did a "lovey dovey" interview for Advocate magazine last month. The magazine, due out next week, will feature the two as a couple, yet now Ellen is with someone new. A source said, "No one knows what goes on behind closed doors – as we all know, couples in trouble usually give interviews on how much in love they are." It is amazing how many celebrity couples do a "lovey dovey" interview and break-up shortly after. A rep for Ellen said, "I do not comment on my client’s personal life."
