Where Dwells the Soul of My Love

Help! I recently read a book on spirituality that excerpted James Thomson's beautiful poem 'Art', which included some of the following lines:

WHAT precious thing are you making fast
In all these silken lines?
And where and to whom will it go at last?
Such subtle knots and twines!

I am tying up all my love in this,
With all its hopes and fears,
With all its anguish and all its bliss,
And its hours as heavy as years.

I am going to send it afar, afar,
To I know not where above;
To that sphere beyond the highest star
Where dwells the soul of my Love.

I cannot recall the book from in which I read the extract - is this familiar to any of you? It did NOT come from a poem anthology, but rather a new-age book on souls/spirituality...

PLEASE let me know if this rings a bell with you. I would be grateful if you could email the title of the book.

If not, check out the entire poem at:
