Through the skies of Argentina

Argentina beholds extraordinary possibilities for those of us who love to enjoy life to all it extends.......
Long before the Wright brothers invented the first aircraft, men has dreamt of flying like a bird. This natural capacity was the only one mankind could not learn, he could swim like fish, run like gazelles, jump as high as kangaroos, though flying was physically impossible till he combined his physical and mental capabilities to create those marvelous flying machines. In spite of having become a very regular and frequent activity, its always exiting to fly; even more when the craft you fly in allows you to enjoy the air perspective of the world.

So wonderful are the sights from above that an outstanding French photographer, Yann Arthus-Bertrand, flew over 3,000 hours in helicopter around the world capturing those fabulous images which are nowadays being exhibited all over the world. Just taking a look at those awesome places from another perspective fills your heart and soul with passion and excitement.

At the same time, it appeared very clear that among those amazing sights the Argentinean landscape had been left a bit aside –considering the pictures were taken all over the world it was clear that the artist didn’t want to stick to just one place but to explore the world’s different cultures, geographies and nature.

However its crystal clear the beauty potential content in this southern country, for its more than 30,200 sq. km area are filled with a variety of geographies, climates and cultures. Argentineans are much aware of the beauty of their land and the amazing perspective of this beautiful territory from the sky; hence there’s no wonder about the many air-clubs and Piper clubs, spread throughout the nation’s territory.

Such proliferation of aerodromes is not just a treat to the local plane lovers, but to all of us who enjoy adventure and good living and by means of this equipped airports travel through these beautiful lands.

To the East, limiting with Chile are the imponent Andes Mountains beholding a striking landscape and the sweet and joyful local vineyards that produce one of the world’s best Malbec wines among many others. A journey through these sites by land is wonderful, however by air is just breathtaking, the incredible sights are very much appreciated from the sky at the same time the visitor can maximize his and her stay at each location.

Following the Andes from north to south is Route 40, an unfinished highway –paved at some extent and to some others is just a rocky earthy road. This sort of highway to heaven that runs from the northern Puna towards the southern Tierra del Fuego brings together one of Nature’s most exquisite creations, connecting a variety of climates and geographies. Once again, this journey on board a fine Piper plane is a lifetime experience that shouldn’t be missed for such adventure is a turning point in life.

Following the route to the Atlantic, a journey through the Argentinean coastline visiting some of the most beautiful seaside Latin American constructions is a feast for our senses. Beginning at the Buenos Aires Art Déco Lighthouse flying all the way south to the End of the World Lighthouse is one breathtaking journey.

As exposed before, Argentina beholds extraordinary possibilities for those of us who love to enjoy life to all its extends. A perfect opportunity to blend the passion for planes with an adventurous journey of discovery at this wonderful land. The amazing sights and the bonus of taking the most out of the time in Argentina is itself the perfect chance to enjoy this gorgeous country north to south east to west, nature and historical architectural monuments such as the amazing variety of lighthouses with a pleasure of the Gods such as superb wines and high class cuisine.

There’s no doubt about it, this is a dream journey proper from a Jules Verne story.
