Another Bachelor on the Market
It was announced that Andrew Firestone is officially single again after splitting from fiancée Jen Schefft.
Another one bites the dust. The third "bachelor" starring on ABC’s The Bachelor is officially single again after announcing his split from fiancée Jennifer Schefft. Firestone said in a statement, "This is a decision we made together through long and thoughtful discussion. It is totally amicable and, though we care for each other deeply, we have come to realize that our future goals are different." Schefft added, "Our love for each other was genuine, but we confronted the same challenges as any other couple trying to make a relationship work day to day."
Despite the fact that Firestone and Schefft seemed like a perfect match, they are the third couple that found love on The Bachelor…only to break-up. Word on the street is that Schefft was uncomfortable constantly being in the public eye. Seems the Midwesterner didn’t like all the attention. Firestone, on the other hand, reportedly had a difficult time giving up the single life. Rumors that he had trouble staying faithful could be an indicator of their troubles.
The first two "bachelors" Alex Michel and Aaron Buerge both dumped the women that they proposed to on the show. Now the Andrew and Jen split. There have been reports that Bob Guiney, the fourth "bachelor," has already dumped his pick, Estella. Seems the only one having luck is the first "bachelorette," Trista Rehn. Her and her perfect suitor, fireman Ryan Sutter, tied the knot last Saturday in a $1 million extravaganza. No doubt the bets are flying as to how long these two reality TV lovebirds will remain Mr. & Mrs. No word yet on who the next "bachelor" will be, but Guiney reject Meredith Phillips is set to star in the next season of The Bachelorette in January. Maybe she will have better luck than the guys!
