Memories of Me

The effects of suicide on others
The wind blows though the open window
The red blood stains the bedroom floor
The silence drifts around the room
As the stereo plays music no more
The shadow of your huddled body
Curled upon the well-made bed
With tears streaming down your pale face
And blood stains on your head
My photos line the blood stained walls
And gaze upon your frown
It was never my intention to turn
Your whole world upside down
Your tears are full of pain and hurt
And freeze within my heart
It was never my intention
To tear your world apart
I see my sisters crying now,
Their faces blank and plain
They never saw my bleeding body
Left out in the rain
The flashing lights keep coming back
The sirens keep on wailing
My once happy life is now marked
Where the crimson blood is trailing
