It’s a poem I came up with as I thought about the girl I liked from my freshman year, which is now my girlfriend...I love you Alexis!
I'm counting down the minutes
Until you next come in my view
I have discovered
How much I truly love you!
It's a sudden kind of magic
That snuck up on me so fast
It hasn't been too long
But I want to make it last.
It makes me so delighted
Picturing your beautiful face
It doesn't matter where I am
I think of you everyplace.
I love to listen when you talk
And hear the things you say
It puts a spring in my walk
It makes it a wonderful day.
I'm mad and I'm fussing
Trying hard to look just right
Cause I want to keep your love
