The Gonzaga Bulldogs won a tight contest against the Georgia Bulldogs, 82-76 in OT, in front of a sellout crowd at the Spokane Arena on Saturday.

Here is some insight -- the good, the bad and the ugly -- into that game.

The Good: Ronny Turiaf led the way for Gonzaga with 22 points and nine rebounds, while Blake Stepp chipped in with 13 points and eight assists.

The freshman from Spokane, Adam Morrison, was in double figures again with 12 points, and it was his energy off the bench that made the difference for the Zags. He kept the crowd cheering throughout the game, waving a towel around when he was on the bench, and raising the roof when he was on the floor.

Cory Violette was in foul trouble much of the game, and fouled out with 2:15 left in regulation, but he did finish with 11 points.

The Bad: Blake Stepp had a great line with 13 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, three made three-pointers, and was two-for-two from the line at the end of regulation.

He only committed four turnovers, but his ball handling was suspect at times. With the Zags up 61-58, he had the ball stolen at the top of the key and it resulted in a breakaway jam. Don't get me wrong, Stepp is one of the top players in the country, but I wonder if a move to the shooting guard wouldn't be worth trying?

Freshman guard, Derek Ravio, played only nine minutes and was visibly upset. I am not sure if he was upset with his play or his playing time, but his bottom lip seemed to be dragging on the floor as he came to the bench.

Ronny Turiaf seemed to be fighting a cold or flu bug, and was sucking down the Gatorade like it was a superman elixir.

The Ugly: Adam Morrison, a diabetic, had to give himself a shot during a break in action on the bench. The trainer handed him a little black case, he prepared a needle, and gave himself a shot in the left side. His teammates watched and a few looked like they might pass out.

The Zags are now 3-1 on the season, and their next game is December 3rd at the University of Washington.
