Chelsea

For our beloved chelsea girl.
You were our valiant little soul…
Twas you for whom the bell tolled.
With breaking hearts we gave you peace,
Knowing that with God you’d gain ease.

You fought hard and you fought long,
You should be praised in song.
Your spirit is an inspiration to me.
Now your soul flies high and free.

You were our valiant little soul…
Your body went through horrors untold.
The little shell that held you here
Was bigger than you were my dear.

You fought hard and you fought long,
Your body weak but your heart strong.
The tears have come since you are gone,
But you are not all alone.
