Emergency Preparedness
72 hour survival kits are out. But how do I stock up on goods? Research your survival strategies and before long you will have all you need.
In light of resent events it would be safe to say 72 hours is not enough. So what is enough? There is no magic list out there that will cover everything for everybody.
The best resource is yourself. What will I need? How will I get it? And what are the best methods for me and my family. The key to all this is planning. If you have a savings account, you already know how to budget. Just make a budget for the "Rat Hole" as I call it. Always be on the lookout for the supplies you need. You can find items new, used or found. Keep your list with you at times, and give a copy of the list to all members of your family. Before long you will have a nice stock pile of the goods you will need in times of need.
