Parenting Made Painless (Well, Almost)
In today’s world, parenting can be an uphill battle all the way. What can a parent do when it seems as though the end of their rope is just inches away? Thankfully, The National Parenting Center is always online, ready to offer assistance and advice to save the day.
The National Parenting Center was founded over 15 years ago with the sole intention of providing parents with advice, support, guidance, and thorough information to help them in raising their children. In a society of conflicting messages and threats around every corner, parents are sometimes at a complete loss for useful information and solutions to problems they’re facing. And that’s where The National Parenting Center comes in. The advice provided by the center comes from some of the world’s most respected authorities in the field of child rearing and development, and can be applied to just about any situation a parent may need help with.
The valuable information dispensed by TNPC is made available to as many parents as possible, through whatever means possible. Interactive systems have been created and are maintained to allow parents to access a panel of experts at all times. In addition, parents may solicit advice from the experts through letters, brochures, newsletters, written transcripts, and even e-mail. The center has developed a Seal of Approval program to evaluate products and services available to parents and children. The consumer-oriented testing process devised by TNPC solicits evaluations and feedback from parents and children about a wide variety of products, including entertainment venues, educational products, and even play equipment and travel destinations. The products that meet the strict criteria for TNPC approval are given the TNPC Seal of Approval. This award signifies to parents that their peers have determined a product to be of highest quality and desirability, based on a wide variety of determining factors.
The Parent’s Corner on TNPC’s website presents articles written by parents wishing to share advice and tips with other parents. Articles may offer ways to deal with your child’s expensive tastes in clothing, or give advice about how to handle a child who wants to dress inappropriately. Parents may offer guidance for coaching children about the best way to handle an emergency situation, or what to do if a someone mistreats them in any way. One recent useful article offered a list of the top ten safety tips all parents should learn, to protect their children and keep them safe. Articles and information cover parenting issues for all ages, from pregnancy to newborns, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, preteens, and adolescents.
Parenting has never been an easy job, and with each generation the job just seems to get harder. But thanks to the Internet, now parents have a wealth of information, advice, guidance, and support, all at their fingertips any hour of the day. Thanks to The National Parenting Center, no matter what struggle or crisis you may be facing with your child, help is just a click away.
