Elton John turns down 6 million pound wedding pics deal
It's a common trend for entertainment magazines to pay celebrities millions of pounds for exclusive rights to print photographs of special moments like marriages and births. And, it hasn't been any different for Sir Elton John, who was offered a staggering 6 milllion pounds by an American TV firm for the exclusive rights to his upcoming December 21 nuptials. However, the Grammy Award winning singer turned down the offer, as he feels that the relationship is priceless.

The singer said that the love that his partner, director Dave Furnish, and he shared was sacred and was not up for grabs.

"Our relationship isn’t up for grabs. Our love is sacred to us. It doesn’t t come with a price tag," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

He further said that he was put-off after seeing pictures of the Peter Andre-Jordan nuptials and finding them horrendous, and that he was following in another music icon, Madonna's footsteps, by banning cameras at the wedding.

"They (Jordan-Andre pics) were the most fabulously, spectacularly awful wedding photographs ever. Madonna got it absolutely right when she got married. Absolutely spot on. Nobody has seen one photograph of that day - and that's exactly the way it should be," Contactmusic quoted him, as telling the British gay magazine Attitude.

The singer had earlier revealed that the wedding was going to be a private affair with only the couple's parents in attendance.
