About 80,000 fans watched British pop star Robbie Williams perform in concert in Mexico City.

Williams opened the large free concert in Zocalo, the city's main square, as part of the Oye! 2005 award ceremony.

After a heavy rain fall, Williams performed hits such as "Feel" and "Tripping," the first single off his latest album, Intensive Care.

He was awarded an Oye award for best English song of the year, 'Radio' from his Greatest Hits album, beating out Coldplay, Green Day, Black Eyed Peas and U2.

Williams is in Mexico promoting Intensive Care which was released in late October and has already sold over 3.5 million copies. Earlier this month, Williams won the Best Male category in the MTV Europe Music Awards, beating competition from 50 Cent and Eminem.
