Lindsay & Wilmer’s Messy Split

Valderrama, 24, claims he is the one that broke up with Lohan, 18. Meanwhile Lohan claims she dumped the That 70’s Show star. The two enjoyed a very public romance and she recently shot a cameo for his series. Earlier this month the two spent a cozy weekend at the Parker Palm Springs resort. Supposedly, Lohan tried to end things with Valderrama before their trip to Palm Springs but he resisted and broke up with her a week later. Valderrama has been reportedly saying that he dumped Lohan because her temper and jealousy were out of control. He even told a friend that Lohan bashed the hood of his car. It seems Lohan has inherited her father’s temper.

It was also reported that the Mean Girl’s star had a "screaming and crying" fit on the telephone with Valderrama just days before the big split. Reportedly, while doing an interview, Lohan became so upset when Valderrama called and said he could not pick her up that the shoot had to be rescheduled. A source said that Lohan was hysterical and that they spent the next thirty minutes trying to repair Lindsay’s make-up to no avail. Lohan’s rep denies the incident.

Whatever the case on who did the breaking up, it does not seem that either party is sitting at home crying about it. Valderrama has been spotted on the club scene a number of times surrounded by beautiful girls and at least on one occasion Lohan’s bitter enemy, Hilary Duff. Lohan has been seen out and about partying with Ashlee Simpson. The six-year age difference may have played a part in the break-up. A source close to Valderrama said, "She wants to go out all the time, and he doesn’t want a part of that anymore." Then date someone your own age, Wilmer!
