Teri Hatcher Sues Tabloid
Actress Teri Hatcher is suing a British tabloid for libel after they ran a tawdry story about her sex life.

Hatcher is suing the Daily Sport for running a story claiming she had regular "sex romps" in a van parked outside of her home. Hatcher has hired London law firm Schillings to begin proceedings against the tabloid over articles that she says "falsely alleged that she engages in sex romps on a regular basis with a series of men in a VW van parked outside her L.A. home for this purpose." The report continues to say, "The Sportadditionally alleges that Ms. Hatcher does this so as not to be caught by her seven-year old daughter during such sexual activity."
Schillings said, "Ms. Hatcher is a single mother who naturally takes pride in protecting and bringing up her daughter at home in a caring and responsible way and bitterly refutes these offensive allegations." According to the firm, the allegations "were repeated extensively elsewhere in many countries" causing "extensive damage" to Hatcher’s reputation. The libel case is set to go before London’s High Court sometime next year.
Hatcher has said in recent interviews that she has not had sex since divorcing her second husband Jon Tenney in 2003. In an interview in February, Hatcher was quoted as saying, "It’s been so long since I’ve had any sex that I don’t remember." In April she said, "I feel like I’m too old to just have sex. I mean, I want to have sex, but with somebody who really loves and gets me." She also says raising daughter Emerson Rose leaves little time for the romance department.
