Wiccans and Paganism: History of Paganism and Christian Wiccans

Regardless of your level of interest or curiosity about all things mystical and magical, you are certain to find answers on the World Wide Web.
Because the Web represents the world’s foremost open forum for all topics and issues, it should come as no surprise that there are countless web sites devoted to such alternative philosophical and spiritual pursuits as witchcraft, wizardry, and paganism, among others. But what is different about the Web is that it allows all of the information about these crafts, and the people who practice and study them, to be presented. All levels of information can be accessed online, whether you are a practicing witch or simply a curious onlooker. The fact that all of the information is available helps to dispel some traditional myths about Wiccan and Paganism in general, many of which carried negative connotations.

For example, as many people may not be aware, Paganism does not have a direct affiliation with Satanism. Pagan worship is comprised of a seemingly infinite array of disciplines, the vast majority of which have no affiliation with Satanism or devil worship. Many of the sites that explore these topics offer comprehensive directories and links to other sites that offer information on all aspects of these ideologies, both positive and negative. The fact that concepts such as Paganism and Wiccan are so widely misunderstood is just another reason to take the time to learn more about them by searching online.

Although none of the aforementioned philosophies may appeal to you, the Web offers you the opportunity to explore each in its entirety and to form your own opinion based on the facts.
