Pitt’s publicity team is denying reports that the couple was wed in a secret ceremony. A UK rag tab has reported that the two were married in an intimate Buddhist ceremony only weeks after Pitt’s divorce from actress Jennifer Aniston was finalized. According to a source, "Brad and Angelina wanted to make a commitment to each other as soon as possible, and arranged a private ceremony to seal their love to one another. They exchanged vows in front of Angelina’s children Zahara and Maddox."

The source continued to say, "It isn’t legally binding, but in their eyes they are married and that’s it." There have been reports that they are planning to make it legal in the United States as soon as possible. Pitt’s spokeswoman, Cindy Guagenti, has hit back at the reports calling them "completely not true." She said, "They’ve used a wedding picture from Mr. and Mrs. Smith and run with this story on the front page. There’s simply no truth to this whatsoever." Whatever the case, it has been reported that Pitt is sporting a gold wedding band on his ring finger.

In other news, Pitt and Jolie are reportedly working out a prenuptial agreement in preparation for their trip down the aisle. A source said, "Brad is preparing for a life with Angelina and that includes making the legal arrangements she’s demanding before they exchange vows." Allegedly, the pre-nup includes a clause stating that if the couple splits Pitt will relinquish all claims to Jolie’s children Maddox and Zahara. It also supposedly includes a stipulation that if the marriage ends in less than five years Pitt will have no legal right to visitation. Pitt’s rep has rubbished reports of a pre-nup.
