Lindsay Lohan Duped

Lindsay Lohan was recently tricked into having a flirtatious test-message correspondence with a man named Jason Lewis, pretending to be the famous actor.

The non-famous Jason Lewis said he was in the cocktail lounge of New York’s Soho Grand hotel when he learned that Lohan, 19, was a guest there. He left his name and number for her and she got in touch with him later that night. The two apparently exchanged flirty text messages for about a week and then were supposed to meet up at New York hotspot Bungalow 8. Lewis was subsequently thrown out of the bar when Lohan discovered he was not the famous actor and the bouncers tossed him out.

Lohan’s rep Leslie Sloane Zelnick confirmed that Lohan had been duped by the non-famous Lewis, but made it very clear that Lohan does not have any romantic feelings for the Sex and the City actor and knows that he is dating actress Rosario Dawson. Said Zelnik, "Lindsay’s well aware that he’s with Rosario and is a big fan of hers." Way to throw that in there and cover your flirty tracks, Linds.

The real Jason Lewis, 35, called the other Jason Lewis a "sh----y human being" and said, "It’s mean. The guy was trying to move up on her and set her up." The non-famous Jason Lewis said in the email, "I take pride in the fact that I didn’t lie or misrepresent myself at any instance during this 10 day story. I was perfectly honest about everything." He may have been "perfectly honest" but he still led her on by letting her think he was the Jason Lewis of Sex and the City, but if it makes him feel better about himself...
