Kimberly Stewart Engaged to Laguna Beach Star
It has been confirmed that Kimberly Stewart is engaged to MTV's Laguna Beach star Talan Torriero, no official wedding date has been announced.

After only two months of dating, Torreiro's rep Jack Ketsoyan confirmed the engagement. Wednesday night Stewart, 26, and Torriero, 19, arrived at the XBox 360 party at a private home in Beverly Hills so Stewart could show off her 5-carat diamond Neil Lane engagement ring to Paris and Nicky Hilton. Stewart was quoted as saying, "It's almost two big. It's beautiful." What is up with the quickie engagements these days? Do they really expect us to believe they found true love after only a few short weeks together? Or that this is a lasting union? Chances are they will call it quits just as quickly as they got engaged!
Torriero was only a junior when he was chosen as one of the central figures on MTV's Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. His part in the show ended Monday with the conclusion of the second season. Torriero is determined to remain in the spotlight. He announced that he is working on a music and acting career. He said in an interview in September, "I'm doing an album, which is very exciting. I can't tell you what label I'm with, but it's a really big label push." He also said, "I've been acting since I was young. Now I get to take what I'm doing and what skills I have and use it to my advantage."
Stewart, for her part, is pretty much just doing her thing as a hanger-on. Her only claim to fame is that she is Rod Stewart's daughter and Paris Hilton's new best friend. It was widely rumored that Stewart was going to replace Hilton's sidekick Nicole Richie on the next installment of The Simple Life, but sadly for Stewart that was a no-go. No doubt she was hoping that exposure would catapult her to fame. For now she works as a sometime model and enjoys the party life. This is the second engagement for Stewart who was previously engaged to musician Cisco Adler, and the first for Torriero.
