Christian Slater Stitched

Actor Christian Slater required 20 stitches to close the gash on his head following an incident Monday in which his wife, producer Ryan Haddon, threw a drinking glass at him. The couple was staying at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas when the incident occurred. No official word on the cause for the dispute, but sources say it was a "very private family matter." Haddon was arrested at 7 a.m. after police responded to an early morning domestic dispute call. Slater reportedly suffered injuries to his forehead, but was able to report to work on his latest film Pursued. Haddon posted bail and is set to appear at a preliminary hearing in the next six to eight weeks.

The couple met in 1998 in Malibu while hiking. At the time, Slater was recently out of jail after serving two months for drug and battery charges. This was just the most recent in a long line of run-ins with the law. He also was convicted on an ’89 drunk driving charge and an incident where he was nabbed by security guards at New York’s JFK airport for carrying a 9mm pistol.

Despite all of his "leading women," Haddon was the only one to get Slater down the aisle. The two have enjoyed a relatively quiet romance, were married in 2000, and have two kids. Since their marriage there has been little to no drama surrounding the couple. However, the two were involved in the infamous night when they partied at the strip club in Vancouver with Ben Affleck and Tara Reid before reportedly bringing the party back to their house.
