Lindsay Lohan to Wed?

Sources say that Lohan enjoys the idea of pulling off a "surprise, last minute" wedding ceremony to Leto. Said a source, "She’s crazy about Jared. She says it would be great to run away, get married barefoot on the beach and shock everyone." The couple was first spotted back in May getting cozy at a New York nightclub. They have reportedly tried to keep their romance under wraps, but earlier this month sparked more romance rumors when they were seen together at New York hotspot Bungalow 8.

It was recently reported that, even though neither camp has publicly acknowledged the romance, they were getting ready to go public with their romance. Now the rumors of the surprise wedding have surfaced. According to a source, Lohan’s family and close friends are fearful that she will rush into something with Leto and have warned her to take things slowly.

It has also been said that part of the motive behind Lohan’s dream to get married is to make her former friend Paris Hilton mad. Lohan is angry with Hilton for hooking up with Mary-Kate Olsen’s ex after splitting from fiancé Paris Latsis. Said a source, "She’s angry at Paris for hooking up with Mary-Kate Olsen’s ex, Stavros Niarchos. Catching a husband would poke Paris in the eye." Um, yeah don’t think so. Paris doesn’t seem to care too much about anything or anyone but herself. If the secret wedding rumors are true, there really is no better reason to get married than to annoy an ex-friend. That is certainly a mature look at the sanctity of marriage.
