Daniel Carlson-Now
Fair warning, one listen will not suffice...Daniel Carlson gets your attention Now on his five-song EP.
Title: Now
Genre: Rock-Pop
Label: Aptzero Recordings
Daniel Carlson gets your attention Now on his five-song EP. With lush layered instrumentation and dream like vocals. He takes you on a round trip of his world with equally engaging lyrics and music.
The dark ambiance may or may not fit your state of mind when you give this CD a spin. It worked out well for me because I had some depressing negativity that was clouding my thought process to match the miserable weather of the day. Even if you are not in right mood for this music, the instrumentation will transcend those boundaries and grab you.
Fair warning, one listen will not suffice, I needed to hear this a few times to completely enjoy it and take in the tremendous musical impact and the lyrics. Sometimes it is not always easy to get the entire picture all at once. Take my advice, go to a room alone, turn the lamp down low, and enjoy the Daniel Carlson experience.
