My Forever Love, Now Lost

A poem about a Childhood love that went on into the teen years, until 1 of them moved away! Though both parties are now married and have a family, Their love is still intact!
My Forever Love, Now Lost
For the one who owns My Heart, on the past I dwell!
Oh! Dear loved one for whom I love so well, its true! Due to My own mistakes, I can only dream of You.

I remember day's gone by! Moving state to state, staring out the car windows' My mind a foggy haze!

But through the fog and through the haze, one image stood bright and true, Oh! My sweet darling, that dear sweet image was none other than You!

I loved You as a child, I loved You as We grew, I've loved You throughout the years, and for You My love still stands true!

I know You belong to another and I know that I do too.

I know we're all grown-up and our lives took different roads, but yet who knows? Some day along life's journey Our paths might cross again.

But until then I will keep dwelling upon the past, wishing My mistakes at last, I had not made!

My dearest sweet heart, know this much is true; Until the end of time, I'll keep on loving You!

Until My last breath, I do take! And again My heart shell never break. My heart will forever and always belong to You!....
