Julia Roberts With Child?

No one will comment on whether or not superstar Julia Roberts is preggers, but sources say that she and hubby Danny Moder have discussed with the makers of her new film Mona Lisa Smile how to disguise a pregnant Julia during filming. There have been rumored discussions of which camera angles to use and wardrobe ideas to hide a growing belly. Sources on the set have also disclosed that Roberts had a calendar to keep track of when she was ovulating. Shooting is expected to run through January 2003 and, if the rumor is true, Roberts will likely be with child during that time.

This news comes as a surprise, since Julia’s unwillingness to settle down and have a family was reportedly at the core of her break-up with Benjamin Bratt. The Roberts-Bratt break-up came as a shock to those close to the entertainment world. An even bigger shock occurred when Bratt married pregnant girlfriend Bond-babe Talisa Soto less than a year later. Some sources say that Julia’s involvement with Moder was sparked out of jealousy that Bratt had moved on so quickly and her desire to start a family is derived from that jealousy.

Roberts and Moder met on the set of The Mexican two-years ago. At the time, Moder was still married to his first wife, make-up artist Vera Steinberg. Moder left his wife and moved in with Roberts. Moder and Steinberg were divorced on May 16 after five years of marriage and he then married Roberts on July 4. Maybe Julia’s problem was always falling for leading men, except for her bizarre marriage to country star Lyle Lovett. Could be that cameraman Moder could be her lucky charm.
