Kelly Clarkson Behaving Badly

Seems it really doesn’t take long for fame to go to your head. On September 19, American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, stormed off a Southwest Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Los Angeles because she could not sit next to her friends, runners-up Tamyra Gray and Justin Guarini. Sources say the 20-year old diva-in-training left the packed airplane in a huff. Flight attendants shut the doors, but right before the plane was to leave the gate the doors were reopened and an announcement was made asking for volunteers to change seats. Once some people moved, Clarkson returned to the plane to the sound of people booing her.
Clarkson won the title of "American Idol" after beating out 10,000 other would-be singers. She won a $1 million recording contract with RCA Records and her first CD will debut on November 26. She has also begun a 28-city tour featuring all 10 finalists. Instant fame - just add water. The "American Idol" phenomenon includes CDs, books and videos about the show and the finalists. Also, not yet released is a video game based on the show, which will allow you to experience the celebrity lifestyle and create a superstar image.
Clarkson seems to have had no trouble adjusting to the superstar image. The bubbly Texan has a bright future ahead of her, but she needs to keep herself in check. She has been a "celebrity" for about five minutes and the jury is still out if she will get her full fifteen minutes of fame or not. At least Britney waited a few years before allowing her "diva-nity" to show through.
