With the loss of Tim Hardaway, and the health of Alonzo Mourning be the key to Miami's season.

Player Losses: Tim Hardaway, Dan Majerle, Bruce Bowen, Todd Fuller, Anthony Mason
Player Additions: Kendall Gill, LaPhonso Ellis, Rodney Buford, Sam Mack, Ken Johnson
Projected Starting Five:
Center - Alonzo Mourning (6'10" 260 lbs.)
Forward - Brian Grant (6'9" 255 lbs.)
Forward - Kendall Gill (6'5" 215 lbs.)
Guard - Eddie Jones (6'6" 200 lbs.)
Guard - Anthony Carter (6'2" 185 lbs.)
Miami will replace Tim Hardaway with Anthony Carter, who has been Hardaway's backup for the past few years. Kendall Gill will fill in at the small forward spot, and LaPhonso Ellis will give them experience off the bench. Alonzo Mourning will need to stay healthy to keep Miami at contender status. Miami will make the playoffs, but won't get much further than the first round.
