Mixed results for Texans in MLR
The latest round of games in Major League Rugby saw Texas teams split their results.
The home teams of Texas have come away with a mixed bag of results in the latest Major League Rugby action.
Fort Worth hosted the visiting Atlanta Renegades in one game, while Woodlands were home to Colorado club Boulder in the other.
The Fort Worth Longhorns were looking to exact revenge on the Renegades for a narrow loss in Georgia earlier in the year, but it wasn't to be with Atlanta triumphing 27-19. On the flipside, unbeaten Woodlands kept their record intact with a close fought 34-28 victory over a winless Boulder.
In the other game of the round, Bay Area side Hayward travelled to Arizona to tackle the Tempe Old Devils and the northern Californians made the trip worthwhile coming away with a 25-13 victory.
The results mean that both Woodlands and Hayward remain at the top of their respective divisions, both are yet to drop a game so far this fall season.
