Christina Aguilera - Dirrty Queen

Singer Christina Maria Aguilera is well-known today as a "DIRRTY" and a SEXY babe. She is also known for her sarcastic remarks over her direct competitor "Britney Spears". Christina was born on December 18, 1980 in Staten Island, New York to her Irish and Ecuadorian parents. Her father was in military and mother a violinist/pianist. Right from her childhood, Christina was fond of music and knew many songs, she performed them in the parties she went. Because of her talent in music, she was selected as a national anthem performer at professional sporting events in the area.

Christina's first camera encounter happened to be at the age of nine years when she participated in a television show Star Search. Even when she could not make it to the first position in that show, it helped in boosting her confidence. Christina then started pursuing her dreams in show-biz. She further went for an audition round at Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club, but was not selected that time. However, two years after that Disney invited Christina to become a Musketeer, where she was accompanied by Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez and Keri Russell.

When Christina was 15, she met the person who helped her move forward in her life: Steve Kurtz. Manager Steve Kurtz was much impressed by Christina Aguilera and he offered her a record deal. When she was working with Steve, she also received an offer to sing Reflection, which was the lead song of the animation project "Mulan". Christina performed her best and the song was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture.

Christina moved faster and released her first self-titled album featuring "Genie In A Bottle". The album was a huge success and Christina became a hot personality. Christina released many more albums which were great success, her albums include: "Mi Reflejo", which was a Spanish album and for which she had to learn Spanish ascents as she does not speak Spanish, a holiday album "My Kind Of Christmas", "What a Girl Wants", "I Turn to You" and "Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)". Christina was featured in "Lady Marmalade" and she won her Third Grammy for Pop Collaboration for the video. Christina also moved around the world, stayed back in some of the glamorous cities in various countries for some time, and performed in front of a crowd of thousand of fans, she rocked the ramps. Christina also won Grammy for Best New Artist during the early years of her career.

The album "Stripped" which appeared on October 2002 was an audacious step by the teen talent. The album was more than mature and displayed the sexy side of Christina’s image. Christina redefined her image in her single: "Dirrty", where she was more than a dare devil. Christina appeared topless on the cover of her album. Further, gave a nude appearance for the Fall Issue of Rolling Stone. Christina was never comfortable with her image of a teen music artist, that was depicted prior to year 2000, and she changed it with one stroke of her bold decision.

Christina has not only won hearts of millions of her fans, she also has won various awards as well.
