Halle Berry’s New Love?

Award winning actress Halle Berry announced earlier this month that she and her hubby of less than three years have decided to separate. Berry said in a statement, "Eric and I have had marital problems for some time now and have tried to work things out together. However, at this point, I feel we need time apart to reevaluate our union. We ask that you respect our privacy as we are going through this emotional time." Since the Berry-Benet split, it has been reported that her affair with Durst split-up the marriage.

The rumor has not been confirmed or denied by Berry’s camp, but Durst has reportedly denied the romance, claiming the two are "just friends." Berry stars in Limp Bizkit’s video Behind Blue Eyes, which is the "lead track" for Berry’s movie Gothika. In the video, Berry and Durst kiss, which sparked rumors of their reported affair. Durst has been linked to a bevy of Hollywood hotties including Berry, Britney Spears, Alyssa Milano, Christina Aguilera, and most recently the star of his video, Eat You Alive, Thora Birch. Durst said of Berry, "I think she’s amazing and I think we get along really good. Us working together was a beautiful thing and the kiss was really cool and the movie Gothika’s awesome. And we became friends…and that’s sort of it." Sort of? What else is there, Fred?

This is Berry’s second-marriage. She was married to Cleveland Indians outfielder David Justice from 1993-1997 and divorced amid reports of physical abuse. Berry and Benet met in 1999 at an HBO party celebrating the premier of Berry’s movie, Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. The two married in 2001 and have been rumored to have had problems from the beginning of their marriage. According to rumors, Benet had a problem with fidelity and Berry had a problem with Benet’s infidelity. Go figure!
