Apprentice Booted Twice
Not only was Apprentice contestant Jennifer Crisafulli booted last week by the Donald, she was reportedly let go from her "real" job.
Reportedly, Prudential Douglas Elliman fired the 32-year old real estate agent after she made "racist" remarks on The Apprentice. Crusafulli explained to teammates why they lost the task of opening a restaurant saying, "It was those two old Jewish ladies...They were like the pinnacle of the New York jaded, old bags." Not kosher according to a number of people who claim the remarks were anti-Semitic, and apparently Crusafilli’s employers agreed.
"We do not intend to have an individual in our organization who subscribes to this point of view," Steven James, Elliman’s senior vice president and executive director of sales, said in a statement. "They are not wanted. They are not needed." The bosses that be at Douglas Elliman supposedly sent a company-wide email stating that it "does not share the views of Jennifer Crusafilli nor condone her behavior on The Apprentice." The email went on to say, "We understand that many of you are upset by her comments, as are we, so please know that we are dealing with the situation in a timely fashion and in a way that we believe will meet with your satisfaction."
Crusafilli states that she has Jewish relatives and that she is very upset that her "career is gone." ABC reported that this is the first instance of an Apprentice contestant losing their job over their appearance on the show. Donald Trump also claims that he did not know of Crusafilli’s remarks when he said those famous words to her, "You’re fired." No need to worry, Jennifer. Maybe you can start your own 900 line like season one’s villain, Omarosa.
