Chris Cagle's Baby Drama
Country crooner Chris Cagle was eagerly awaiting the birth of his first child only to find out that he is not the father.

Cagle seems to be living in his very own country song. For months Cagle has been telling fans on his Web site about the impending birth of his first child. On Tuesday, Cagle released a statement on his Web site that he is not the biological father of his girlfriend Tammy Wheeler’s baby. The statement reads, "As many of you are aware, I had been anxiously awaiting the addition of a new baby to my life. The baby has been born and both mother and child are in good health. Since the birth, however, we have discovered that biologically, the child is not mine."
The statement continues, "As excited as I was about becoming a new father, my disappointment now is equally strong. Out of respect for all that are involved, please allow the situation to remain private and know that I will not be commenting further on this very personal matter." Seems like Tammy has been a very bad girl. Talk about embarrassing! No word on whether or not Cagle demanded a paternity test or if Wheeler just broke the news to him. The baby, named Cannon Dale, was born over the weekend, but no other details were released. You have to wonder if they can work though this problem?
Cagle, 36, star began rising in 2001 with the release of his debut album Play It Loud and the number one hit "Laredo." Cagle is currently on tour for his third album Anywhere But Here, which was released by Capitol Records on Tuesday. Maybe the tour will help take his mind off the baby drama. Heck, it could even provide enough material for album number four!
