Padding up

I don’t really know whether it is for titillation purposes or for just a passing fad. I noticed some 5 year olds trying to ape their elder sisters while trying to understand fashion. On a serious note however, titillation has its weak points too. Men being men, there has been a greater number of their species who are known to take such heaving glances lying down.

Barbie, known to be the most child-like doll till date has also "grown". It is perhaps her new found assets today that make her so appealing! Most people, like most men are totally awed by the way women pad themselves up, either in the name of fashion, or to look attractive or even to correct their hidden flaws that nature has not given them. One of the most likely reasons why women tend to put on an attitude and make themselves look complete, is believe or not loneliness. Of course some women would do it only to grab attention.

"The Look-at-me" Syndrome
And if the teens have made this their fashion statement, can the older women be far behind? Not really! Some ladies on the wrong side of their age, are probably mistaken for being padded up!, when in reality all that they are is just pumped up muscles that have been so carefully held up there! So what’s my point you may say? Two primary points I must say. One is that irrespective of the society we may stay in, it is the same attitude and the same viewpoint in the eyes of every man! All he really looks up to is a breast. What’s wrong you may ask? Well, to an extent nothing! And to another, everything!

A majority of rape cases have their initiations here. It is here that the egoistic male cannot accept that to admire a woman is too much to ask for. It is here that they do not understand the difference between accepting that a woman has an athletic body and one that is trying to declare itself from amidst the layers of soft pads. At the work front too, it brings about the wrong signals. One that keeps on continuously saying, "Look at me!" And male colleagues are only too happy to follow you. It also brings in a general feeling of depression! This is so as the male thinks this to be an advantage that a woman will seek over her man, one that will not allow the capable man to move forward and prove himself for that much awaited promotion. There are studies where this has either proven to be the reason for a gang rape and in some areas the only profession that would ideally take place within the organization.

Baring the Bra
There are areas, especially the colder regions in this world where wearing a bra is next to impossible thanks to the eternally cold weather. In places like these a body tight or chest hugging sweatshirt comes to the rescue. Women across the world have taken upon themselves to make the bra as popular as possible. This has restricted to many women to possessing the perfect figure. There are many who blame it on their genes, and only a few who realize that wearing a bra at an early age invariably stops the natural formation of the breast to occur.

There are few who understand that building some interesting biceps is not only constrained to guys, who are totally into body building. These are also meant for women, more so because their bodies are made in the manner that allows the pectoral muscles to go through immense torture if not taken care. Breast-feeding and pregnancy, though a joy to be experienced can also bring in perils of sagging fat, disfiguring the body’s make-up. Women need to take control of their lives and stand up for themselves. Some food for thought!
