Miami still solid at No. 1, UCLA enters top ten in new eSportscollege football poll

The new eSports Media Group has Miami continuing in the top spot. The UCLA Bruins enter the top ten at No.8. The Texas A&M Aggies enter the poll at No. 20.
The first week in October has Miami continuing its stranglehold on first place in the eSports Media Group college football poll. The next five positions are staggered rather evenly in their point distribution. Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, and Oregon all have solid leads on their trailing rivals.

Starting with No.7, that trend ends. No's 7-10 are separated by only four points. Fresno State moves up to No. 7, while UCLA vaults up three spots to No.8. Virginia Tech and Tennessee are in a tie at No. 9.

The second ten starts with Washington, South Carolina and Kansas State. The Wildcats only dropped one spot after their one point loss to Oklahoma. Only five points separate Michigan and Northwestern, the last two teams in the top fifteen and Big Ten favorites.

Florida State moves up two spots to No. 16 followed by the Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets dropped seven spots after their home loss to Clemson. LSU, Clemson, and the poll debut of Texas A&M round out the top twenty.

BYU stays at No. 21 with Purdue moving up one spot to No. 22. The Pac 10 gets two of the last three spots with Stanford at No. 23 and Washington State at No. 25. Toledo reenters the poll at No. 24.

Illinois, Oregon State, Mississippi State, and Michigan State all leave the poll this week. They are replaced by Texas A&M, Stanford, Toledo, and Washington State.
