Angelina Jolie & Billy Bob Thornton Reunite?

There are rumors of secret visits and sexy telephone calls between Jolie, 29, and Thornton, 49. The two have grown into a friendship since their acrimonious split in 2002. They are the "closest of pals" and according to the rumor mill – growing into much more. Thornton recently earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Jolie took out a $10,705 full page ad in the Hollywood trade Variety, which read "Billy, I love your brilliant mind. Congratulations! With love and respect, Angie."

The two said "I Do" in a quickie Las Vegas ceremony in May 2000, her second marriage and his fifth. They suddenly split three months after Jolie adopted son Maddox from Cambodia in March 2002. Their split was bitter at first, but friends say they have warmed to each other. Thornton admitted on IFC’s Dinner for Five earlier this month, "Angelina and I are still great friends…When we talk to each other on the phone and plan on hooking up, it’s like, well, your place or mine?" A friend of Thornton’s said, "Billy Bob says he still loves her and she still loves him. He has said that they will always be a family because of [Jolie’s son] Maddox."

Is the fact that these two are reportedly thinking of getting back together any stranger than things they did while married? Probably not. Jolie has admitted that she has two regular lovers and Thornton has been with girlfriend Connie Angland for about a year and the two have a newborn daughter named Bella. It seems that Billy Bob can’t commit and always wants what he can’t have. It doesn’t sound like a healthy relationship to re-enter, but who knows…maybe in the end Jolie and Thornton were meant for one another.
