Nicollette Sheridan’s Broken Engagement
Actress Nicollette Sheridan and her fiancé Nicklas Soderblom have called off their engagement according to her publicist.

Nicole Perna, Sheridan’s publicist confirmed the split in a statement Wednesday. The statement read: "Nicollette Sheridan and Nicklas Soderblom have parted ways after a year and a half. They ask that you respect their privacy at this time. The break-up announcement was made only days after Sheridan rubbished rumors that their romance was on the rocks. She reportedly said at the time, "They should get their facts right before they print things." Guess she spoke too soon.
The two got engaged last winter shortly after her 41st birthday. This would’ve been the second marriage for Sheridan who was previously married to actor Harry Hamlin from 1991-1993. She dated former teen pin-up boy Leif Garrett from 1979-1985 and was also romantically linked to singer Michael Bolton. Sheridan first garnered fame as Paige Matheson on Knot’s Landing from 1986-1993. She seemed to fade into the background after her run on the hit nighttime soap until she landed the role of Edie Britt on last years break-out hit Desperate Housewives and found herself back in the spotlight.
Sheridan recently admitted that it has proven difficult to find a good balance with her career and her private life. She said, "It does get difficult at times, especially when work means that we can’t be together, but absences make it all the more special when we do get together." She went on to say, "Nicklas is incredibly supportive of my career and he handles all my success very well indeed." No official word was given for the split.
