Sweet Dreams
A poem I have written for my baby girl "born sleeping" 23 June 04....
I really do not understand,
Why you were born "sleeping".
I hold this tiny little body,
No understanding threw my weeping.
Such angry rage soared through me,
Yet physically I could not move,
And to myself then and there,
My strength I've had to prove.
Because your death was not violent
People think my loss was easy,
I really wish they'd stop saying,
"Be thankful she died Peacefully",
You left behind a family,
Oh the love we had to give,
So much fun you could've had,
Had you had the chance to live.
I have so many, many regrets,
So much I wish I done,
Then maybe you would still be here,
My precious little one.
I see you in your sisters,
I see your sisters in you,
We will meet again,
This much know is true!
