Travel Loan
Some blondes are smart, you know.
A blonde walked into a New York City Bank and asked for the loan officer.
She told the loan officer she was going to Europe on business for 2 weeks and needed to borrow $5,000.
The banker said he'd need some kind of security for the loan, so the blonde gave him the keys to a brand new Porche parked out the front of the bank.
When the title and paperwork all checked out, the banker agreed to accept the car as security for the loan.
The banker then drove the new Porche into the bank's underground garage and parked it there.
Two weeks later, the blonde returned, repaid the $5,000 bucks she borrowed, and the $14.32 of interest that had accumulated.
The loan officer was a bit confused, so he asked, "We here at the bank are very happy that this transaction has worked out, but while you were away, I checked you out, and I'm a little puzzled. I found out that you are a multi-millionaire. What puzzles me is why you would bother to borrow $5,000."
The blonde replied, "Where else in New York City can I park my car for two weeks for 15 bucks?"
