The Bachelor Heats Up

The dynamics of this season’s The Bachelor has been different than other seasons. This season's bachelor, Bob Guiney, previously appeared on The Bachelorette where he vied for the affections of Trista Rehn. Bob proved to be the comedic relief in the house and won the hearts of women all over America. Alas, Trista chose another and Bob was sent home heartbroken. Now he is back, 40-pounds lighter, and looking for love. The women that are now vying for Bob's affections watched him while he was on the Bachelorette. Many of these women feel like they already know Bob and that he is the one for them.

Some of the women that have been booted from the show have acted as if the guy they had been dating for four years broke up with them! Come on girls! How much could you know about this guy after a night or two? There have been a few drama queens who have made the show a guilty pleasure. This season has been especially drama-packed with one of the bachelorettes being rushed to the hospital and another having a death in the family. The rest of the season promises to be as exciting!

Four shows into the season and Bob has narrowed the playing field from 25 women to 6. The women left standing are Brooke, Lee-Ann, Mary, Estella, Kelly Jo, and Meredith. Bob has seemed to share a connection with each of these women, although he seemed to have a connection with the other 19 women as well, especially since he was seen kissing most of them! In the last episode, Lee-Ann confronted Bob about the fact that he is basically having a romantic relationship with several women at once. She instructed him to send her home if she was not going to be one of the very final girls left in contention. He picked her, but one has to wonder whether it was out of guilt or obligation? Does he really like her? Or did the producers have a say? Whatever the case, this season’s bachelor is off with a bang!
