Renee Zellweger Single Again?

A source close to the band White Stripes says that frontman Jack White, 28, and actress Renee Zellweger, 34, have officially split and the relationship is "definitely over." The source also says the relationship has been off for "several weeks." On the flip side, a source in Zellweger's camp says the couple is "totally fine." So which is it? Totally over or totally fine?

There has been some speculation as to why the two broke-up, if they did indeed split. There have been rumors that Zellweger's weight gain for her roles in Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason and as Janis Joplin in a movie about the singer's life, has been a problem for White. Others have hinted that there may be a romance brewing between Zellweger and her Bridget Jones co-star Hugh Grant. Seems the two bonded on the set of the first Bridget Jones flick and have reportedly grown closer this go ‘round.

Zellweger reportedly fell for White on the set of the upcoming flick Cold Mountain. The Civil War-era drama, which also stars Jude Law and Nicole Kidman, will serve as White's film debut. Zellweger has previously been linked to George Clooney and was engaged to Jim Carrey after they met on the set of Me, Myself & Irene. White is frontman for the band White Stripes along with Meg White who is either his sister or ex-wife – depending on which reports you believe.
