Britney Spears’ Break

Spears has just released a long-awaited "letter of truth" on her official website. In it she describes how she is taking a long overdue break. She says she has learned how to say "no" to those who have advised her throughout her whole career. It recently became known that Spears fired her longtime agent Larry Rudolph . The word on the street is that Spears was furious with Rudolph for coercing her into signing a prenuptial agreement with Federline. Rudolph denies any coercion and has said, "This has been a truly mutual break-up."

Spears even replaced her mom in the letter-writing department on BritneySpears.com. A source close to Spears’ camp said, "Britney’s getting rid of anyone who doesn’t agree with the changes she has made in her life." Does she think they are good changes? She has always bordered on trashy, but since meeting Federline she gives trashy a whole new meaning! Can anyone blame those in her life for trying to protect her? Spears said in her letter, "Going & going & going is all I've ever know[n] since I was 15 years old. Right now, I have to go--I really want to watch Saved with Mandy Moore and reruns of Sex and the City."

Spears’ new album, Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, is set to hit stores on November 9. She also has her 2005 calendar on sale now as well as her perfume Curious. Other than that she is slated to host Saturday Night Live sometime in 2005, but that is about all. It seems Spears and her unemployed hubby are content shopping to furnish their brand new Malibu home. Is this what Britney wants or is this Kevin talking? Someone in the relationship has got it made…
