Sharon Stone Suffers Mild Aneurysm

After experiencing severe head pain, Sharon Stone was taken to a hospital where it was revealed that she had suffered a brain aneurysm.
Sharon Stone is currently under observation at a San Francisco hospital after suffering what appears to have been a brain aneurysm. According to her rep, Cindi Berger, "An angiogram was performed on Sunday and it was determined that the likely cause was a tiny aneurysm that required no treatment." Stone's husband, San Francisco Chronicle executive editor Phil Bronstein, took her to the emergency room "because of severe head pain," Berger said. "Doctors expect no further problems or complications. She is resting comfortably."

Doctors are expected to keep Stone in the hospital for observation for another week and the actress is reportedly determined to resume the many projects that she currently has underway. None of the projects involve film work however, so no production schedules appear to be in any danger as a result of her unfortunate malady.

The sexy Basic Instinct siren hopes to make a full recovery and be back on the Hollywood scene within the next couple of weeks. Although she is not currently filming any new movies, Sharon has always been an active charity supporter, and in this time of national crisis, her plate is sure to be full with charity activities.
