Chris Klein Opens Up

In a recent interview, Chris Klein finally opened-up and blamed the demise of his relationship with Holmes on the fact that they just fell out of love with each other. Holmes and Klein dated for five years during which time they were engaged for a little more than a year. Said Klein, "We grew up. The fantasy was over, and reality set in. We weren’t lighting each other’s fires anymore." Reportedly, they have not spoken since their March break-up. Probably because Katie hooked-up with Tom Cruise the following month and they have pretty much been joined at the lips since.

As for her engagement to Tom Cruise and subsequent pregnancy, Klein reportedly didn’t have too many strong feelings one way or the other about the relationship. Klein did say of Cruise’s couch jumping antics, "…That’s Tom. He can do whatever the [bleep] he wants. Who gives a [bleep]? I mean we’ve all felt the need to jump up and down on a couch. Or not!" Klein seems to be doing just fine without Holmes. He has four movies that he is working on and as for his personal life he said, "I’m not lonely. I’ll tell you that. I’m certainly not crying myself to sleep at night, sucking my thumb. No dude, I’m out and about."

Klein has a lot more going on for him with his career than Holmes. She just pulled out of her new movie Shame On You because of her pregnancy. Since she began dating Tom Cruise, this is the second movie she has opted out of. She reportedly passed on the prime role of Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl, that eventually went to Sienna Miller. If she isn’t careful she may end up cruising out of a movie career, but with the way she has been acting lately who knows if she will even care.
